近日,欧洲研究委员会(European Research Council,ERC)发布最新工作计划,首次明确禁止研究申请人在列举研究成果时提及期刊影响因子(journal impact factors , JIF)。

“总体建议1. 禁止使用基于期刊的定量指标如期刊影响因子作为评价单篇论文质量的替代指标,来衡量科学家个人的研究贡献,以及在人员聘用、晋升或资助决策中直接使用。”
Dutch university在上个月也发布了新闻,宣城在招聘和晋升时,不再考虑影响因子这个因素:
荷兰大学表示,在所有招聘和晋升决定中,正式放弃影响因子——衡量科学成功的标准。2022年初,荷兰乌特列支大学的每一个系将通过其他标准来评判其学者。Paul Boselie,一位该大学负责人说:“影响因子并不能真正反映一个研究人员或学者的水平。”我们坚信有些事情必须改变,放弃影响因子就是其中之一。”
